Picture frames are piling up at our Hall. At our January meeting we set February 21st and if necessary, February 22nd from 1PM-3PM for the CWA/Family Activities picture frame decorating contest with judging at State Session. We added 5 more G-notes to our collection.

Taghhannuck’s new project for the year is “Nominating Local Farm as Grange Farm School-East”. Our Grange Farm School Committee will give a 5-minute presentation at each of our meetings under “For the Good of the Order”. In collaboration with Motherhouse and Local Farm they will offer 4 seasonal activities in our Hall, including a related short reading from out blue book and based on our Sign of the Order. This will bring together the ritual part of the Grange and good farming methods and awareness of ecosystem principles. They plan to have four seasonal activities in our Hall open to the public. These will link the 4 seasons and the 4 Degrees. We hope this will answer “what is the Grange” that people always ask members. At our last meeting the committee had the program “The Grange, a Quick History”. Let me know if you want a copy.

On January 24th from 1:30pm- 3:00pm Mother House and some Grange members will paint beehives in memory of Barbara Bartram.

As always you are welcome to join us at our meetings or any of the events.
