I have some exciting news from the CT State Grange Session. The 2025 CT State Grange has awarded our Bethlehem Grange “farmer” AL (Skip) Maddox as the (adult) Agricultural Professional. The Maddox farm was once a cattle farm, dairy farm, and at present an egg producing farm with 100 chickens. At one time, AL had an ox as a pet!
Other awards included the Community Service Award, the Lecturers Appreciation Award, and the CWA Award.
We donated a complete Thanksgiving dinner and in addition collected food items for the food bank.
The United States of America will be celebrating its 250th birthday on July 4th next year. Let us gather ideas to make it a grand celebration together. Happy Holidays!
