| JANUARY 13, 2026 -- More than 200 people -- mostly young families -- came to Cannon Grange’s ‘Breakfast With Santa’ holiday event in the Grange’s historic 1899 Grange Hall. “We were thrilled with the turnout,” said Cannon Grange President Doug Shepherd. “It was especially gratifying to see so many young families come and enjoy the pancakes, sausages, coffee and sweet treats -- and meet Santa.” The Connecticut Society of Santas supplied St. Nick and one of his elves to meet the families. There was also a face painter who had a steady stream of young customers. “It was a great community event,” concluded Doug. |
