August 2019 Musings from Winchester Grange

By Todd Gelineau

  August 7, 2019 --

Winchester Grange held a tag sale at the Grange Hall on July 27 to help clear out some of the “stuff” that’s accumulated in the garage during the last year (or years). We are fortunate to have a spacious hall, but... it does create too many opportunities to build up things that will never be used. This became abundantly clear when the Old Firehouse was cleared out for the new State Grange office. All of the “stuff” that was tucked away up there had to find a new place to be.

Looking ahead, we are planning for our annual Grange Fair and Flea Market to be held at the Grange Hall and on the Green in Winchester Center on August 10. There will be exhibits, a giant book sale, a raffle, plenty of food and a flea market on the green. Come on out and enjoy a beautiful summer day in Winchester.

Aug. 10: Winchester Grange Fair & Flea Market

Aug. 13: Exhausted?, Ref. Men

Aug. 27: Awards Night & Community Picnic, 6 P.M.
