Winchester Grange Musings from February 2019

The Jan. 22 meeting of Winchester Grange was ironically entitled “BRR!” ; It turned out to be one of the coldest days in a long time and was also on the heels of a weekend snow and ice storm. Rather than ask members to go out in these conditions, the meeting was canceled with the hope that February will treat us better.

Mountain Laurel Pomona Grange January 2018 News

Mountain Laurel Pomona held a wonderful Christmas Meeting in December at Taghhannuck Grange Hall in Sharon. The program by Lecturer Lin Erickson was entertaining and a lot of fun and all enjoyed their grab bag gifts.

January 2019 Musings from Winchester Grange

Winchester Grange had a nice Christmas meeting and program on December 11 with the always popular Christmas Grab Bag of gifts. Our next meeting will be about the new year - 2019 - and the following meeting on Jan. 22 will be about, well, the most popular topic these days – how cold it is…. Brrr!

Mountain Laurel Pomona Grange December 2018 News

Our Congratulations to George Russell of Riverton Grange for becoming Master of the Connecticut State Grange. Thanks to Bethlehem Grange for organizing the reception for George and Sharon at Memorial Hall on December 9 from 1 to 3 P.M.

Winchester Grange held its annual Fall Super Prize Party and Bake Sale in November. We were pleased to have a full house that evening with lots of prizes donated by our members and friends of the Grange.
