March Musings from Winchester Grange

February was a rough month for Winchester Grange. Weather was an issue for our first meeting, delaying the Obligation Ceremony for our two new members until the February 26th meeting.

Pond Hockey Tournament on Park Pond

Camp Berger, owned and operated by the Connecticut State Grange and nestled in Connecticut’s Northwest corner, has been home to the only outdoor pond hockey tournament in the state.

Mountain Laurel Pomona 3/2 Meeting Location Change

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Mountain Laurel Pomona meeting scheduled for this coming Saturday, March 2, at 4:00 PM will be held at RIVERTON GRANGE and not in Wolcott as originally planned.

Winchester Grange Musings from February 2019

The Jan. 22 meeting of Winchester Grange was ironically entitled “BRR!” ; It turned out to be one of the coldest days in a long time and was also on the heels of a weekend snow and ice storm. Rather than ask members to go out in these conditions, the meeting was canceled with the hope that February will treat us better.

Mountain Laurel Pomona Grange January 2018 News

Mountain Laurel Pomona held a wonderful Christmas Meeting in December at Taghhannuck Grange Hall in Sharon. The program by Lecturer Lin Erickson was entertaining and a lot of fun and all enjoyed their grab bag gifts.
